PRACTICAL LIFE TIPS TO MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTHY AND PEACEFUL AURA

Maintaining your own zen in times like these is hard enough but it doesn't have to be impossible or expensive. Try these tips to make it all a little easier.


Fresh Flowers

They can be freshly cut from your backyard or can be specifically bought from a flower shop. They need not be fancy roses or carnations. Anything colorful and easily available will do enough to brighten up the space breathing in the fresh air.


A Favorite Coffee Mug Which Is Only Yours

A warm beverage to refresh you on a rough morning or a cozy evening in your own mug will give you a sense of control over yourself. A sense of belongingness that yes, some things are still truly yours even if everything else is falling apart.



At least ONE Hard Copy of Your Favorite Novel/ Lifestyle Magazine/ Auto-biography

You don't have to read or go through it every day but the sense of familiarity it establishes is great fuel for you. For me, 'Tuesdays with Morrie' is my most favorite book which I have near me at all times.



A High-Quality Spacious Purse

Always have one bag ready-to-go with some spare cash, a snack, mints, mini sunscreen, lipgloss, band-aids, hand sanitizer, hairpins and bands, safety pins, and any other items necessary for a long day if you were to get stuck anywhere or have to rush in the case of an emergency. I can't count how many times this little technique has saved me.



A Luxury Perfume

Don't be stingy when it comes to finding your scent. It is what most people will associate you with. Please don't shy away from the expensive aisle. I'm not saying all the costly ones are great and will last long, that research you'll have to do on your own depending on your tastes but please make room for a proper perfume and not the knock-offs.


Whether you exercise or not- STRETCH!

It's been over a year of the pandemic lock-down and our sedentary lifestyle. If you don't want to feel like you've suddenly aged 30 years when your hips hurt, please do your morning or evening stretches. If you can't find time throughout your day, please ensure to stretch before you hit the bed. It can be as simple as following a 2-5 minute youtube video.

One Body-Spa Session A Month

Once again, please don't consider this an expensive affair. You can totally DIY it in the safety and comfort of your home. There are plenty of nifty spa kits available online. Just pick ONE weekend of the month where you take time to pamper yourself. Scrub in-between your toes, massage your scalp, use candles, music, just whatever helps you feel clean and good.
